Margaret Dangoor has a National Health Service background and prior to her retirement worked in a range of senior nurse and general management roles. She has a Masters in Health Law and was executive director of ALARM, the Association of Litigation and Risk Management which has now become incorporated within the Royal Society of Medicine. For a number of years Margaret has been working within the community and voluntary sector through various chairmanship roles and board membership. She is a past Vice-President of the Royal Society of Medicine and President of the Patient Safety Section.
